My girlfriend won a Wii at work and a friend told us you can download Mii’s from the internet. We went into the settings and set the internet connection up, but do not know how to access it after that. Can someone help please?

Sorry if this question doesn’t make sense, as I don’t know that much about internet settings like these and internet connection with Wii.
