The Wii version and the GC version are mirror images of each other so if you turn left left right in the wii version it is right right left in the GCN version, this is due to Link being a left-handed swordsman. Nintendo thought that right handed might appeal to gamers more so they switched it to the right on the Wii. In the Wii version you aim with Wiimote so instead of using the analog controller and moving the crossharis manually you just point to where you want to shoot while holding a button and then release the button when you want to fire. Swordfighting is not that great on the Wii, you just swing the wiimote back and fourth so there isn’t as much control over the timing, whereas the GC uses a button. The only real difference is in the mingames like fishing. As far as graphcs and sound go there really isn’t a noticeable difference but the GC may be slightly lower but not enough to be noticicable. All in all if you want a great wii game that has some innovative controls that, although they take some time to get used to, kind of spice the game up a bit (especially aiming arrows and such) go with the Wii. If you don’t have a Wii then you don’t miss out on the important parts like gameplay and story and you get a familiar control scheme to boot.

in zelda twilight princess , the only difference is the controls. simply it’s better to play it on the wii because you move the wii-mote to swing the sword, go fishing, shoot arrows and other cool things.

On the WII you can actually use the Nunchuck controller to attack the enemy whereas on the GC you only can use the buttons to attack.

for wii u use the sword like a real sword and GC u just press B
    wii has better graphics
Gc is mirrored off of wii so the places are in different spots

All the levels are reversed due to a tech problem with Link being left handed and most people using the wii remote with their right hand. They are close enough that if you can’t afford a wii you won’t miss out on anything.
