I am considering purchasing rock band for the wii. I know that it comes with one guitar, but I would like to buy additional ones. I know that there are different versions of the guitar controllers. What is the cheapest model/version that I can buy new, and what price is it?

If you are buying Rock Band, do not get the Guitar Hero controller for the Wii. Guitar Hero Wii controllers are not compatible with Rock Band. You need to buy the actual Rock Band guitar for the Wii version like this one.http://www.amazon.com/Wii-Rock-Band-Wire…
Check out http://www.buyacheapwii.com/search and type in rock band. I saw some from $10 to around $60 depending on which exact Rock Band controller you want.
As far as anyone knows, only the official Rock Band controller works with Rock Band. For Guitar Hero, you can buy either the official Red Octane Les Paul controller, or the Nyko Frontman controller, which is much cheaper.
