what you need is a gamecube controller. they plug in at the top of the wii under a flap.below are some places to get them

Yo need to have the gamecube game disk any disk work on it and have the gamecube controller its like a little gamecube built in the wii.And the classic controller is for classic game on the wii shop channel.You ca plug in the game cube controller onto the top of the Wii.

You need the Gamecube controller, just plug in on top, there are 2 panels that can open up on top of the Wii system, 1 for gamecube controllers and the other for the gamecube memory cards, the panels open up from the right top edge of the system.

you van’t use the wii controller you need to get a nintendo gamecube controller and plug it into the top of the wii I hope that helps

You need a gamecube controller and I think only wired ones work but I may be wrong. You plug it right onto the top of the wii console.
