My mom only has one hand that she can easily use, and I was wondering what games would be available for th Wii that use a classic controller or only one controller that she could handle.

You can play your classic controller with Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Guilty Gear and Geometry Wars, I can think off the top of my head. Which.. don’t seem to be very helpful with your situation…
You could always check the back of game boxes, for the blue outline of a classic controller on the top left corner.
Classic controller is mostly for the games you can use on the wii channel. Such as the original Mario for NES, and even older games.
However, if you wii breaks after you purchase some games off the channel, they can’t be transferred to your new wii, and you will need to buy them again.
Mario Kart Wii doesnt. It has Motion-Sensing controls thats why.
You can use it in Super Smash Bros Brawl,
And all Wiiware and Virtual Console games
Except gamecube
