Nintendo is working on their next console, thats what companies do, they always work in advance.
Expect 2011-2012
Seriously, don’t worry about a next gen console until 2011, trust me.
The next wii will be available between 2011-2012. And it looks exactly the same. I’m pretty sure it will be available in black. The only major difference I see is the more internal memory the wii will have. And it’ll have better graphics, too. I suggest you keep the wii you currently own because I think games released for the next nintendo console will be compatible with the wii. And Nintendo’s consoles are always inexpensive. All you people need to get your facts right. THERE IS NO Wii 2! It’s only a rumor started by Wii haters who want Wii in HD. The next console from Nintendo will not be a Wii 2 or Wii HD but an entirely new console.
There is going to be a new wii coming out in 2012 called the the Wii Revolution which can play games in HD and can play Nintendo 64 and Gamecube games.
The wii is releasing a new wii that displays in HD. No new systems for a few years now.
So only save for a new wii if you want HD quality
i’d hold off until you actually know about the “wii 2″
What second version?
I would keep hold of your WII at the moment as the newer model is not our for a while yet.
