Can anyone tell me how to connect 2 Wii consoles over the internet? My Fiance and I want to play tennis against his brother and sister-in-law in another state. I know you can hook em together, I just don’t know how! Thanks!

First of all, do you have a tennis game for Wii that is “wifi-compatible”? The Wii Sports “tennis game” that came with the system is NOT wireless-compatible, if you weren’t aware. There should be a “Wifi” symbol on the front of the game case for any game that can be played wirelessly over the internet.
As far as I know, EA is currently developing a tennis game that will probably include online play coming out in 2009/2010. Nintendo’s Mario Tennis is a rehash of the GameCube’s Mario Tennis, so probably will NOT have online mode. And 2K Sports released Top Spin 3 but no online for the Wii version; possibly Top Spin 4 will?
