i would shop around. there are a few good console discounts on WII this Christmas. £168.00 for a Wii with no games. £199.00 buys you a good wii console.

Around $240-$250.
Just be persistent in calling to check and try to get advance knowledge of shipments. You may have to go there early and wait an hour or two on that day but it will most likely be the only way to get one as they are currently quite popular and stores will run out of stock before the store opens. The Wii’s MSRP is about $250.
Call up your local Targets, Best Buys, WalMarts, GameStops, etc, and ask them when they’ll be getting their next shipment in.
Then plan to get there early that day.
That’s how I got my Wii.
People are still selling used Wiis for well above MSRP, 2 years after launch.
