Nintendo sends me stuff like new updates every once in a while on the Wii Message Board via WiiConnect24. Sometimes it gives me the option to “opt out” of that service, but now it doesn’t; how do I stop receiving mail from them? Thanks!

It can’t be done, trust me.
Even if you could, it would be a really bad idea. The Nintendo messages inform you on important updates, and it gives you important news, like the fact that the Internet Channel has been updated to a better version of Flash and that it is now free again. You’d be left out of the loop on all of this if you didn’t receive Nintendo’s messages.
If it’s the flashing blue light that bothers you, you can set it to dim or off in the Wii Settings under “Wiiconnect24″ and “Slot Illumination”.
Check if it can be done through the settings…on the bottom left of the wii menu……BTW you should update your Wii. It has a great new update..the Internet Channel is free now. and it has a better flash player.
you dont want that.
trust me
