You buy Wii Points cards at stores that sell Wii stuff.(Wal-Mart, Target, Gamestop, etc.) 2000 points cost $20. (So the 500 points Internet Channel would be $5.) You redeem the points on the Wii Shop Channel where you enter the number on the card. You can also purchase them on the Wii Shop Channel itself if you put in your credit card number.

The Internet Channel can be downloaded of the Wii SHop Channel for 500 Wii points, about $5.
