I’ve heard people talk about the Wii Internet Channel and that sounds very cool. Can someone please help tell me how to get it?

You buy it from the Wii Shop Channel for 500 Wii points.

  • I am a person

    in the U.S.:
    1) find a wireless internet signal
    2) go to the wii purchasing thing in the top right bubble of the main screen
    3) find the internet channel ($5 I think, in wii points)
downside is you can’t download things like realplayer so you can’t watch videos outside of sites like youtube. kind of hard to type with the wiimote too. otherwise, it does everything a regular internet connection does.

    Easy
first you gotta have internet connection and then go onto the shop channel (update your system first by going into the wii menu and into options) and go into wiiware or something (wii channels?) then its sitting there for free i think. I forgot. maybe its 500 wii points i dont know

You first connect your wii to the internet and get a wii Points card (they cost 20 US dollars) Go to the Wii shop channel add your ponts to the Wii, then select Wii Channels and Downlode the Intenet channel. its 500 points which is 5 dollars

The internet channel is one of many channels that can be purchased and downloaded from the Wii Shopping channel (which means your Wii has to be connected to the internet via a wireless router or LAN adapter). I believe it costs 500 points- points cards can be perchased from several different retailers. The cost of points cards varies depending on what country you live in (about $20 in the US, $25 in Canada, €20 or £15 in the UK.
