I got 2 Madcatz wireless remotes so my kids could play 2 player gamecube games on the wii. When plugged in, one remote works, but not the second. The light just blinks, and the paddle doesn’t work. On the game during player set up, it shows both paddles plugged in, but again doesn’t function. What to do???

Madcatz? I’ve had them before and I don’t remember seeing a blinking light. Is it the low battery indicator?
If the MadCatz controllers work like the Wavebirds do, you need to make sure that the receiver and controller are set to the same frequency.
You might call their customer support line and see what’s up. If there really is a problem with the controller (and you bought it new), it may be under warranty.
