i have two wii remotes. when i turn my wii on my main wii remote that came in the package with the wii wont work. it will just blink the 4 little blue lights at the bottom. I’ve changed the battery and also tried the other wii remote. it still doesn’t work. I’ve tried to sync it by pressing the red button under the reset button (in the little door thingy.) But i don’t know how to sync it. and is there anything else i should try?

If u just got ur wii then i suggest u take the battery cover off ur wii remote press the red button that says sync while pressing the same button on the wii under the reset and power button u open this little compartment. then ur wii remotes should blink on the 4 squares. then the wii remote(s) should have the first box lit up blue and the second box blue on the other remote. Do this everytime ur wii remotes are not working
I had this problem with one of my wii but all you have to do is open the back of the remote where the batteries are and the little door in the wii near SD card slot and press the one on wii first then press one on remote and your wii remote should flash for few seconds and then have light in player 1 spot
by the way you know how you said there were only 4 blinking lights. when you press the button on the wii remote it blinks the amount of power the battery has left then it conects to the wii it is syncronised to.
it should come syncronised to the wii it was packaged with though.
I had a similar problem, I just got my Wii and had trouble figuring out how to Sync my 2nd Wiimote. What do you is this: say you’re playing Wii Sports. When you select how many players, if more than one, select “more” on the right side of the screen. It will instruct you to hit buttons 1 and 2 on the second controller and then hit button 2 on the second Wiimote. If done right, it’ll connect the 2nd Wiimote. You need to be patient though, it won’t work right away (good ol’ technology) but this is the way I’ve been doing it and it seems to work =)
hmmm
maybe there is a problem with your wii and it can’t read or connect your wii remotes.
if you have warranty you should get it repaired
-OR-
if you don’t have any saved games you should just return the wii and get a new one because repairing it takes a while to get your wii back

i think that you have to press a button on the remote. it is by the batteries,
