I need to connect to a wireless acess point on my wii without knowing the password.

You can’t. If it requires a password then it requires a password.
Find out the password or log into the router and disable it.
If it’s not yours then you shouldn’t be using it.
You can’t, it requires the password or else you could get into any wireless network in the world.
Move next to a library or a McDonalds.
