How Can I Connect My Wii To The Internet With A Huawei Modem Stick?

I do not have a Nintendo WiFi USB Adaptor and I need to connect my Wii to the internet. Is there any way that I can connect my Wii to the Internet using a HUAWEI 3G Modem Stick?

The HUAWEI modem needs to be connected directly to your computer (not into back of Wii).
Once you have that set up then there a few ways to share the internet connection from your computer to your Wii:
    1. Buy this generic alternative to the Nintendo WiFi USB adapter: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sk…
    2. Get the Nintendo Wii LAN adapter which plugs into your Wii(http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems… ). Use an ethernet crossover cable to connect it to your computer, however you would need to go to Network Connections in windows and bridge your ethernet with the HUAWEI.
    3. Buy this generic alternative to the Wii Lan Adapter: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sk… .
    4. See if your computer has a WiFi adapter with access point mode (also known as Soft AP), or buy a WiFi adapter that does. Then once you’ve configured it as an access point and the HUAWEI is connected to the internet you also need to ensure that the internet connection is shared or otherwise go to Network Connections and create a bridge. While there is a chance that this method won’t work, if you’ve already got an adapter it’s worth a try since it won’t cost you antying.
    5. If you’re confident enough, try these instructions to modify the drivers of a suitable WiFi adapter to trick your wii into thinking it’s a Nintendo WiFi connector: http://forum.gbadev.org/viewtopic.php?t=…
    I hope it works out!

I doubt you’ll be able to do this. Your modem stick will normally require drivers that the Wii is not going to provide!
