1. yes you do need a wii console. I’ve played a wii and am also getting one in 2 days!(christmas) So it is defiantly worth the money at 250$.
2. there is no difference AT ALL except it got released at different times. (unless you mean the price then yes, but it’s still a wii is what im saying)
3. well an asian one would be the cheapest by far. But only if you are willing to fly to asia just for a wii. You MIGHT find it on ebay if you’re lucky.(doubt it) (plus it might be raised back to american price and i dont know if they can even ship from asia)
4. I have never heard of it but try wikipedia.com
5. no i havent but im am sure a few people have. wouldn’t recommend it. Unless you go there.

1. Yes you do need a wii, its not stand alone
2. The different consoles are region locked to specific type disc’s(however it can be unlocked by a modified wii.)
3. The cheapest you might find a wii is about $248.00, so it only gets upwards of that with packages. But just the regular $250 version is great, then buy wii play, and you get another fun game and controller.
4. A modified wii refers to one or more of three things A) A modchip has been installed(hardware mod), allowing backed up discs and other region games to play. Some also have specific features. B) The homebrew channel has been installed. This allows custom made software to be run. This includes being able to play other region games without a modchip or any permanent changes. More info on all this in the link below. C) a case mod, which changes the case on the outside to look different like a chrome case, clear case, or lighted case. Some even have temperature monitors.
5) no i got my wii from a local circuit city.

1) Wii Fit is a game/accessory and you need a Wii to use it.
2) Wii and most other video game consoles are region locked so for example you cant play games bought in the United States on a Wii intended for Japan. Its not based purely on the country though (for example Canadian and Mexican Wiis are interchangeable with ones from the United States).
3) I’m not sure.
4) A modded/modified wii means that it has a computer chip aded to it that blocks its anti piracy features allowing you to play copys of games burnt onto dvds.
5) I haven’t.

I will try to answer your questions
1) yes the wii fit is an accessory and you do need a wii to play it
2) I would think it would be the region coding for the games, but not totally sure on that one
3) I would think that all would come out to be about the same price once you did the currency conversions…$250 US dollars
4) Modified mean someone has put a chip in it so that you can play music cds, illegal downloaded games (or as some call them backups), and sometimes DVDs
5) I have not but I got mine from a store in the US

I believe they are in different languages
well i got the wii 2 weeks after it came out and it wosn’t the cheapest but i have had noo problems
well it has a little diffrerent way of showing your miis on wii sports
I sure haven’t!

2 the big thing is they are all region locked so US wiis only work with US games etc
3 Well i would buy the onee from the same country
